Interpretive signage
The plaques, panels, and labels that tell visitors what an artwork is, who made it, and why it's here: the difference between passing an object and meeting it.
The floor is factual: artist, title, year, materials, and who commissioned it. The ceiling is one honest, human sentence about why the work exists. It's worth more than three paragraphs of committee prose. Write for someone standing on a sidewalk with eleven seconds, not for the grant file.
Physical signage and digital interpretation divide the labour well: the plaque carries the essentials and ages slowly; a link or code on it can lead to the fuller story (artist interviews, process photos, the rest of the collection), which can grow without anyone re-fabricating bronze.
